How did you get your PSC nickname?
I've always had it I guess. It was jcfreak63 and at one time it was Will_E_Makit. jcfreak because I'm a Christian and Will_E_Makit for the heck of it. Oh and 63 for birth year.

What is your real name and age?
Vince Johnson 49

Where are you from and what do you like best about being there?
From Georgia (USA) There are some amazing artists here, excluding myself ;)

What do you do to keep the bills paid?
I'm disabled.

What do you do in your spare time?
I used to spend most of my time here or at Photoshopfaceoff.com but now, sadly, I spend most of it on Facebook. Stop laughing!!!

How did you find PSC, and what do you like most about the site?
An old friend from PSFO.com told me about it.

If you could change one thing at PSC, what would it be and why?
More anonymous contests. Seems to me that the voting would be much more impartial.

Is there any other information about you would like to pass on?
Nope.

How many hours per week do you spend on PSC?
Not many.

What other sites, not Photoshop related, do you like to surf?
Facebook, Netflix, YouTube.

What tools do you use to chop?
Toshiba Qosmio laptop. Photoshop CS5. Windows 7.

What gets your creative juices flowing, how do you create a masterpiece?
Not flowing much at all these days. Never created a masterpiece.

What inspires you?
Other choppers that are much more talented than myself (which is a lot).

Do you have a system? Does a chop have to be done a certain way following steps or are you a messy chopper and just go with the flow?
Messy, I guess-y!

What style of chop do you prefer to create?
Photo-realistic.

Filters, brushes and techniques: Which do you use, and not use, and why?
Too many to name.

When do you know that you have it just right, or is it constant changes up until, or after, you post?
All the above.

What is the limit to what you will chop?
Religion or I should say Anti-religion.

Are there any tips and/or tricks that you would like to pass along to less experienced choppers?
Are there any less experienced? Kidding. I guess I would tell them to be original. Don't try to emulate others chops. Do what makes YOU happy!

What is your favorite type of source image, and why?
Objects. Don't know why.

There is often talk about how the source is used and to what extent it should be. What are your views on all sources, outside source use and animations?
I think it's fine to use outside sources as long as you don't overuse them until the original source is no longer recognizable. Same goes with just using the source pic and animations.

What is your preferred resource for outside source images?
Google or http://www.sxc.hu/.

In your opinion what makes a good chop?
Execution, originality, theme.

Do you have a system to get things started?
Not really.

Have you ever completed a chop and then decided not to enter it in the contest? If so, why?
Yes, because it didn't turn out the way I'd hoped.

After you finish your chop do you just post it or seek opinions of family and/or fellow choppers first?
Both.

If some one finds a fault in your work do you change it or stay with what you posted?
That depends on how I feel about it and how someone critiques it. If it's constructive criticism I'll probably change it, unless I think they're wrong.

What qualities do you look for when deciding to vote on a chop?
Execution, originality, theme.

Some member prefer not to vote for filtered chops or animations. Is there any particular style/type of chop you won't vote for?
If there are too many filters used I won't vote for it and if the animation is low quality I don't vote for it.

Time is always a factor, how much time do you spend on a chop and how much time is too much?
Depends on how it's flowing or not flowing.

We all love to get votes. Now are you a constant vote checker or do you just let it go and check once a day? (be honest)
If I feel strongly about a chop I check often.

What chop of yours did not do as well as you expected?
Quite a few.

What do you consider your best chop so far?
http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/175473/happy-easter.html

What do you consider your worst chop so far?
http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/181030/the-wanderers-2011.html

Who is your favorite chopper out there and why?
Toss-up between ReyRey and Claf.

What do you NOT like to see in a chop, and why not?
A source that's got too much going on in it. If I want to remove something it makes it harder for me.

What is the best chop of all time?
Not sure.

Do you have any other PSC related comments to add?
Nope. Thanks for reading. HEY...WAKE-UP!!!
