How did you get your PSC nickname?
I already used that name before I joined.
What is your real name and age?
Brenda, 45... ;)
Where are you from and what do you like best about being there?
I was living in Berlin, Germany for the last 13 Yrs and since a couple of months I'm living in Slovenia. Pretty much different than Berlin. My new hometown is Ljubljana and its sooo much smaller. The peeps here are not as wild and crazy as in Berlin and as me. I hope I can find some great new friends here!
What do you do to keep the bills paid?
I got myself a great shredder right at the mailbox. I don't even know I get bills!
What do you do in your spare time?
Chopping, gaming, origami, shopping, gaming and gaming.
How did you find PSC, and what do you like most about the site?
hmm... that's a long time ago... and I actually can't recall how I got here (no.. i didn't drink something)
If you could change one thing at PSC, what would it be and why?
No Money prizes anymore because I like surprises and so I prefer prizes like in the early days: software, advantage, i-pods etc.
Is there any other information about you would like to pass on?
ah... well... no.. maybe later
How many hours per week do you spend on PSC?
Used to be around 15 hours? (I used to!.. let me see how long it will be the coming time)
What other sites, not Photoshop related, do you like to surf?
Adult sites ;)
What tools do you use to chop?
Photoshop (CS 5 Design Premium)
What gets your creative juices flowing, how do you create a masterpiece?
My creative juices got stuck.. I need to start chopping again very bad!
What inspires you?
Humor :)
Do you have a system? Does a chop have to be done a certain way following steps or are you a messy chopper and just go with the flow?
First steps are: importing into PS, copy BG layer and cut out parts that I need / find parts I need on the Internet
What style of chop do you prefer to create?
Funny! and preferable as believable as possible. *wonder if the previous sentence makes sense*
Filters, brushes and techniques: Which do you use, and not use, and why?
I think I could use a lot more tools in PS if only I would not be sooooo lazy to find out how stuff works *blush*
When do you know that you have it just right, or is it constant changes up until, or after, you post?
When I get emotional when looking at my creation and call it my baby ;)
Actually at a certain time I am just cool with it and post it. Perfect or not.
What is the limit to what you will chop?
Religion, bad-taste, blood, etc.
Are there any tips and/or tricks that you would like to pass along to less experienced choppers?
Try to stop working on your post for a while and go take a break. Come back and try to look at it as if it's the first time you see it (because that will be the way the others will look at it). Be honest, make changes, work further or submit depending on your judging.
What is your favorite type of source image, and why?
Machines are not really my thing... anything else will do ;)
There is often talk about how the source is used and to what extent it should be. What are your views on all sources, outside source use and animations?
I am most impressed when the source image gets a complete new meaning. I love those chops where I wonder how in the world the creator gets the idea. Surprises are always fun!
What is your preferred resource for outside source images?
Mostly I look on www.sxc.hu.
But I think it will be fun to shoot some pics myself, so maybe I will give that a try.
In your opinion what makes a good chop?
For me quality is a very important point. Clean cut-outs and good integration.
Do you have a system to get things started?
I have to feel good.. so get me a coffee.. comfy trousers.. feets up and go!
Have you ever completed a chop and then decided not to enter it in the contest? If so, why?
Not really. I often start a chop and don't finish it because I don't feel like working on it anymore.
After you finish your chop do you just post it or seek opinions of family and/or fellow choppers first?
I will just post it.
If some one finds a fault in your work do you change it or stay with what you posted?
I definitely change it. I am always willing to learn and you know the saying :)
What qualities do you look for when deciding to vote on a chop?
Clean chopping and original ideas. I always vote when I see he/she put a lot of effort in it. (also when it's not perfect)
Some member prefer not to vote for filtered chops or animations. Is there any particular style/type of chop you won't vote for?
Bad-taste, discriminating or political subjects.
Time is always a factor, how much time do you spend on a chop and how much time is too much?
Around 3 hours I would say is enough
We all love to get votes. Now are you a constant vote checker or do you just let it go and check once a day? (be honest)
I'll be honest of course. I check it all the time! :) I love to get votes because that's for me a reward for all the time I invested. Makes sense, not?

Who is your favorite chopper out there and why?
ReyRey and Sjitske
What do you NOT like to see in a chop, and why not?
I don't like to see naked women because I prefer naked men.
What is the best chop of all time?
I think it was something with an eye... or crocodile... if you know what I mean, pls pm me :)
