How did you get your PSC nickname?
Goat -- I apparently 'laugh like a goat,' according to friends I had in highschool -- thus the nickname "goat" that stuck in the following years. 1981 is my birthdate.
What is your real name and age?
Kris (I'm a dude, so there is no confusion :-P), currently 26
Where are you from and what do you like best about being there?
I am from the moon; the best thing about being here has to be that it's made out of cheese...and I LOVE cheese.
What do you do to keep the bills paid?
What do you do in your spare time?
How did you find PSC, and what do you like most about the site?
Friends told me about it! It's such an addicting place...and I've learned a lot about PS and have chatted with some very cool people. :)
If you could change one thing at PSC, what would it be and why?
Is there any other information about you would like to pass on?
How many hours per week do you spend on PSC?
In the 'summer,' too many... During the semester, only enough to vote. :)
What other sites, not Photoshop related, do you like to surf?
Facebook, DPreview...anything that interests me.
What tools do you use to chop?
Photoshop CS 2, crappy hardware... I chop everything on my laptop (an oldish pentium 4 with 30 minutes of battery life, 512mb of ram, and a touch-pad "mouse") FUN! :P
What gets your creative juices flowing, how do you create a masterpiece?
NOT drugs... :P I just have crazy ideas.
What inspires you?
Do you have a system? Does a chop have to be done a certain way following steps or are you a messy chopper and just go with the flow?
What style of chop do you prefer to create?
I like to do all-source images when the source permits. I also love to do funny images. :) I've been told I'm a pretty funny guy. :P
Filters, brushes and techniques: Which do you use, and not use, and why?
...always trying to learn new techniques. I use as much as possible. I don't use too many filters aside from the very basics.
When do you know that you have it just right, or is it constant changes up until, or after, you post?
I never think my posts are right. Unless it's just a quick chop, I'll usually have several versions of the 'final product' before I post.
What is the limit to what you will chop?
I like light-hearted, sometimes funny chops, that tell a story. :)
Are there any tips and/or tricks that you would like to pass along to less experienced choppers?
What is your favorite type of source image, and why?
Good ones. :P
There is often talk about how the source is used and to what extent it should be. What are your views on all sources, outside source use and animations?
I like it all if it is well-done.
What is your preferred resource for outside source images?
I HATE looking for sources. I usually use Google and stock.xchng
In your opinion what makes a good chop?
Do you have a system to get things started?
Have you ever completed a chop and then decided not to enter it in the contest? If so, why?
Nah....if its turning out badly, I usually quit half-way through. My ideas usually take some work. I don't think I have ever spent less than 45 minutes on a chop....and usually average about 3hs work per chop.
After you finish your chop do you just post it or seek opinions of family and/or fellow choppers first?
Usually just post it these days. My eye has gotten more keen to error through participating on this site for a couple years.
If some one finds a fault in your work do you change it or stay with what you posted?
Depends on how bad the error is, and if I think it is a real error to begin with. :)
What qualities do you look for when deciding to vote on a chop?
Some member prefer not to vote for filtered chops or animations. Is there any particular style/type of chop you won't vote for?
Time is always a factor, how much time do you spend on a chop and how much time is too much?
~3 hours total on average. :-I However long it takes. I think the most I've ever spent on a chop was about 14 or 15 hours (total...of course, not in one sitting)
We all love to get votes. Now are you a constant vote checker or do you just let it go and check once a day? (be honest)
I am a CONSTANT vote checker... I won't lie. :-P
What chop of yours did not do as well as you expected?

I really liked this chop...and even though it came in 4th, I thought it would've done better.
What do you consider your best chop so far?
http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/83045/when-lawns-dream.html
With idea help from my beloved SARANCCAS (or something like that) team. Where are you, Feral?! ...but the chop is all me. :)
What do you consider your worst chop so far?
http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/100436/brick-man.html
my worst during my advantage 'period.' The hand is really poorly constructed... :-I ....but I do like his body and sideburns. ;)
Who is your favorite chopper out there and why?
Several (including some I probably won't remember to name...)
BILLTVSHOW...my original inspiration on this site. I really love his style, and really tried to study his work. ...and he's a really nice guy and has helped me on many a chop. :)
ReyRey and Claf... (Jesus, pure skill. Sickening. :P They can make anything out of NOTHING and make it look real.)
Stevster (look at his entries in the H2H this and last year...)
Deshone (another artist whose style and skill I really admire)
Badcop (LOVE his sense of humor and his fine chops)
Anfa (imagination and skill)
Marcoballistic (I have no idea how he gets an idea and do a chop nearly every day....as well as some great chops to boot!)
Metalic, Supak0ma, The Burning Couch, Arcaico, Alex, Buglover, VVP, hellraiser, vokaris, serious, Feral Hamster, jasper, serps, bluefist.... so much talent on this site.
What do you NOT like to see in a chop, and why not?
What is the best chop of all time?
Do you have any other PSC related comments to add?
Eat Cheese.
