How did you find PSC, and what do you like most about the site?
I was looking for a photoshop contest on the Internet, came across this site and have been coming back everyday ever since.
If you could change one thing at PSC, what would it be and why?
I would have the contest anonymous until voting ends but still show the number of votes every image is receiving. This will mean voting for the chop and not the chopper.
Is there any other information about you would like to pass on?
not really
How many hours per week do you spend on PSC?
I work on the computer all the time so I'm logged in to PSC all day long, sometimes even during most of the night I like to check and see what is happening every now and then. I chop 3 or 4 hours a day not all related to PSC though.

Adobe photoshop CS2, Coral painter
What gets your creative juices flowing, how do you create a masterpiece?
Good music, an interesting image any thing really can get the creative juices flowing, about the masterpiece,, I will let you know when I have one.
What inspires you?
peace of mind, when I have problems I find it hard to find inspiration.
Do you have a system? Does a chop have to be done a certain way following steps or are you a messy chopper and just go with the flow?
sometimes I tend to go with the flow but then I have to step back and reorganise things.
What style of chop do you prefer to create?
I like to try different styles because I like to learn something new every time.
Filters, brushes and techniques: Which do you use, and not use, and why?
As I said I like to try everything but if I use a filter I like, it has to enhance an image not have it make the image.
When do you know that you have it just right, or is it constant changes up until, or after, you post?
Most of the time a finish a chop and that's it I know it is just right at other times I may even change after I have posted if there is a technical error which can be fixed.
What is the limit to what you will chop?
I will not do bad-taste and try to avoid politics, apart from that I will do anything that is in good taste.
Are there any tips and/or tricks that you would like to pass along to less experienced choppers?
Keep learning that is the best way to keep improving.
What is your favorite type of source image, and why?
I guess I like nature best but I will try out anything the more bizarre the more interesting it gets.
There is often talk about how the source is used and to what extent it should be. What are your views on all sources, outside source use and animations?
I love the all source but using outside source is OK as long as there is some work involved in the process and not just cut and paste. I also like a good animation.
What is your preferred resource for outside source images?
I have a huge collection of images I have taken myself from all over the world but if I'm stuck I will use Google and try and find copyright free images.
In your opinion what makes a good chop?
Diversity , originality and artistic quality.
Do you have a system to get things started?
not really.
Have you ever completed a chop and then decided not to enter it in the contest? If so, why?
yeh a few times, maybe because I felt it was lacking something or because I felt it was not good enough.
After you finish your chop do you just post it or seek opinions of family and/or fellow choppers first?
Usually I just post it, but when they have time I like to show my family what I have been up to, my son is a good critic.
If some one finds a fault in your work do you change it or stay with what you posted?
I will only change it if it something technical, if it is just an opinion then I will stick with what I posted.
What qualities do you look for when deciding to vote on a chop?
originality, and effort.
Some member prefer not to vote for filtered chops or animations. Is there any particular style/type of chop you won't vote for?
If I like it I vote for it.
Time is always a factor, how much time do you spend on a chop and how much time is too much?
it varies sometimes a chop may take an hour or two sometimes many hours. I limit myself to the time I have available.
We all love to get votes. Now are you a constant vote checker or do you just let it go and check once a day? (be honest)
I like to check a few times a day not just my votes but other' too I like to guess who is going to do well and then check to see if I was right.
What chop of yours did not do as well as you expected?
I thought He's back do a bit better. I did a lot of work on that one and loads and loads of layers. I wish I had had more feedback on it.

coming to take me away.
4 votes looking back at it I don't know what I was thinking....
Who is your favorite chopper out there and why?
That is a difficult one....I like different choppers for their styles....I like anfa, marcobalistic, reyrey, sliver, micose, ScionShade and on and on because they all have their own style.
What do you NOT like to see in a chop, and why not?
I like diversity and even if a chop is not perfectly done I like to look at the effort that went into, what I really hate is when someone copies something and then post in an image pretending that he/she had done all the work another thing I hate is an effortless posting and then expecting people to vote for it.
What is the best chop of all time?
Venus by ScionShade
