How did you get your PSC nickname?
From a fellow Scuba Diver, as a monniker on a certain Scuba BB (Short for 'WIZard of OZ)

What is your real name and age?
That would be telling

Where are you from and what do you like best about being there?
Queensland and it's blue skies, white sands, sunrises and great seafood

What do you do to keep the bills paid?
%+

What do you do in your spare time?
Scuba Dive

How did you find PSC, and what do you like most about the site?
By accident, the company it keeps

If you could change one thing at PSC, what would it be and why?
Get rid of 'advantage'. It stacks the voting on entries

Is there any other information about you would like to pass on?
Nope!

How many hours per week do you spend on PSC?
Too Many!

What other sites, not Photoshop related, do you like to surf?
Boing Boing! BBC News! www.scubadiving.com! Soduki!

What tools do you use to chop?
Apple iMac G5! Adobe CS!

What gets your creative juices flowing, how do you create a masterpiece?
40 years of being an art director in advertising makes it become second nature to visualising the unusual! With patience!

What inspires you?
A lot of old ads, a lot of pictorial memories, a few off-beat painters and 'Google'!!!!!

Do you have a system? Does a chop have to be done a certain way following steps or are you a messy chopper and just go with the flow?
Yes! But I would have to kill you if I told you;-)

What style of chop do you prefer to create?
2&3

Filters, brushes and techniques: Which do you use, and not use, and why?
All of 'em!

When do you know that you have it just right, or is it constant changes up until, or after, you post?
Sometimes beyond the expiry date...then I just improve it and save it for the next time! So many times I've wished I'd saved something and didn't!!!!

What is the limit to what you will chop?
Anything within the PSC rules!

Are there any tips and/or tricks that you would like to pass along to less experienced choppers?
Be inquisitive, ask stupid questions, study the winners, and ask yourself..."Could I have done that?" If not, start trying to!!!!!

What is your favorite type of source image, and why?
Anything over 800X600 pixels

There is often talk about how the source is used and to what extent it should be. What are your views on all sources, outside source use and animations?
"I'm an Iconoclast, and you ask me that old kernel of a question... NOTHING is Original!"

What is your preferred resource for outside source images?
'Google! Google! Google!"

In your opinion what makes a good chop?
"Seamlessness!"

Do you have a system to get things started?
"A Power Button!"

Have you ever completed a chop and then decided not to enter it in the contest? If so, why?
"Yes! When what's on the Monitor isn't like the image in my mind...shit happens, and you can smell when you 'chop' it!" ;-)

After you finish your chop do you just post it or seek opinions of family and/or fellow choppers first?
"In quicker than Jack Frost, to beat all you other bastards out there!

If some one finds a fault in your work do you change it or stay with what you posted?
Depends on who, what and when!"

What qualities do you look for when deciding to vote on a chop?
"Degree of effort, an unusual approach and the avoiding of cliche's

Some member prefer not to vote for filtered chops or animations. Is there any particular style/type of chop you won't vote for?
"I think there should be a separate sub vote for all GIF's, IMHO!"

Time is always a factor, how much time do you spend on a chop and how much time is too much?
"As long as it takes!"

We all love to get votes. Now are you a constant vote checker or do you just let it go and check once a day? (be honest)
Yes! I love feedback, and a low vote makes me more determined not to make the same mistake twice! (Note: It usually means I've been lazy and it shows).

What chop of yours did not do as well as you expected?
"Most of them;-) "

What do you consider your best chop so far?
"Haven't a clue!"

What do you consider your worst chop so far?
"All the ones on the 'Chopping Room Floor!"

Who is your favorite chopper out there and why?
Micose', Marcoballistic, Rey Rey, Bigbucks and Abrahams, because they get to the Heart of what's before them

What do you NOT like to see in a chop, and why not?
"Yukkie Band-Aid chops that look stuck on and go way off the color balance scales

What is the best chop of all time?
"The Next One!

Do you have any other PSC related comments to add?
"Yeh! Stop the bloody Whingeing!"
