How did you find PSC, and what do you like most about the site?
looking for tutorials. I like the daily challenge, great ideas, different interpretations, various techniques applied. And I like the very friendly people here. Great place to learn!
If you could change one thing at PSC, what would it be and why?
more tutorials from the "gurus"!!Especially about perspective.
Is there any other information about you would like to pass on?
How many hours per week do you spend on PSC?
too many,[some say], but I disagree with them.

modern art, photography, political blogs,book reviews.
What tools do you use to chop?
Vista and CS2
What gets your creative juices flowing, how do you create a masterpiece?
I look at the starter photo and then just go with my imagination. Not ready for a masterpiece, yet.
What inspires you?
all kinds of music, colors, shapes, interesting details.
Do you have a system? Does a chop have to be done a certain way following steps or are you a messy chopper and just go with the flow?
I go with the flow, and sometimes end up somewhere totally different from where I started out from.
What style of chop do you prefer to create?
all source. I'd love to learn the surrealistic chops.
Filters, brushes and techniques: Which do you use, and not use, and why?
I make my own brushes and backgrounds, also work with self-made patterns.I like most of the filters, use them sparingly, especially as they seem to be frowned upon here.
When do you know that you have it just right, or is it constant changes up until, or after, you post?
I only post when I think I have it right. Of course, others will not think so! I change, if I can, but rarely update.
What is the limit to what you will chop?
bad taste, too dark, insane. I dislike cartoons.
Are there any tips and/or tricks that you would like to pass along to less experienced choppers?
I consider myself a beginner, and am grateful for others' tips and tricks!
What is your favorite type of source image, and why?
nature, objects, vuiews. Machine parts can be interesting.
There is often talk about how the source is used and to what extent it should be. What are your views on all sources, outside source use and animations?
I try to use as much source, or all source, as possible, limiting outside source use. Animations are cute and good attention getters. I haven't done any yet, know too little.
What is your preferred resource for outside source images?
My own photos.
In your opinion what makes a good chop?
Creative use of source, imagination, and good execution, depth.
Do you have a system to get things started?
No.
Have you ever completed a chop and then decided not to enter it in the contest? If so, why?
Plenty of times, they were either not good enough, or I came up with a better idea.
After you finish your chop do you just post it or seek opinions of family and/or fellow choppers first?
Just post.
If some one finds a fault in your work do you change it or stay with what you posted?
It depends. I'll have to agree with it.
What qualities do you look for when deciding to vote on a chop?
Originality, execution, details, imagination,color balance.
Some member prefer not to vote for filtered chops or animations. Is there any particular style/type of chop you won't vote for?
I really don't understand this aversion against filters!It's kind of snobbish. I don't exclude chops for that, that would be censorship.
Time is always a factor, how much time do you spend on a chop and how much time is too much?
As much time as is needed to complete it. But I have given up on some...
We all love to get votes. Now are you a constant vote checker or do you just let it go and check once a day? (be honest)
I always check every couple of hours. Sometimes the votes are surprising.

I think my second place entry, don't really remember.

I'm embarrassed about a couple of them...
Who is your favorite chopper out there and why?
Marco, he's in a class by himself, and always top quality in all categories.
What do you NOT like to see in a chop, and why not?
Too many outside sources, and laziness.
What is the best chop of all time?
I haven't finished looking through the archives, far too many great ones!
