I hate to be a big meanie, but should we have some guidelines for the size of graphics people are placing in their signature fields? It's a common thing, for message boards, to have some posted size limits that people are asked to follow. I'm concerned that without any sort of guidelines, signature art is just going to get bigger and bigger.
It's more of an annoyance than anything, I guess, because most of us have pretty fast connections, but it's kind of a bummer having to scroll sideways to read posts, or page-down to get to the next one.
Or, if I'm the only one who finds big signature graphics annoying, then I'll just suck it up and block the images that bug me.

This was brought up in PSC Mod lounge....after the monthly casino night.
Here's what JMH had to say:

Cynn, are you referring to sigs in general or scavenger hunt sigs?
If it's Scavunt sigs, that's only going to last a week,

anyone viewing at 680 should not be on a photoshop site.

Well, in my opinion, a truly excellent Scavenger Hunt team could come up with a logo that doesn't annoy people.
And Splodge--good point. =clams up=

Your first mistake was to assume we were a truly excellent Scavenger Hunt team! Your second mistake was to engage in a land war in Asia!
But seriously...we really weren't aware of the guidelines before Rob came up with the graphic. There's still a lot I don;t understand about these things...over the months, I've seen a number of very large sigs that haven't caused their own thread. But we certainly didn't mean to cause problems or flaunt the rules, so we have adjusted our graphics accordingly. Hopefully that will resolve the matter without any hard feelings.

I think it depends more on the person who made it, since it didnt take a team to create. and If I have any spare time, I am trying to do the SH, not fix other people's mistakes. If our banner really bothers you, you should take it up with LD. Although, I heard somewhere that the bigger the team's banner...
