A while ago i helped somebody who didn't have paypal, he payed upfront on my bank account and then i payed his advantage (with my paypal account).

There's the trust issue off course to consider =)

Beg someone to pay for you

There's off course the issue of the psychological scar level, how far do you to go with making a fool off yourself

Hack the site: (not recommend as people won't like you that way)

I do have an "unverified" PayPal account since I do not want to give them my bank account info. I've paid by credit card every time I donate to PSC.

The last membership I bought for someone (a few days ago), I was prompted that I had a PayPal account, please sign in or "continue without signing in" (click here). I tried to update my credit card info with PayPal, but couldn't find where to do so; it seems to have changed. So I went back through and paid without signing in to PayPal. Worked just fine.

You can use either a "regular" PayPal account or credit card (they may still ask you to register with PayPal, I don't know) to pay for Advantage memberships.

Another option if you do not have a credit card is to get a VISA (or other brand) gift card, available at many banks. Works just like a credit card, except you've already paid for it so you won't get a bill.

All my donations, advantage buying for myself and others have been done by both debit (Meastro Card) and credit card (Visa) through paypal, I know some countries do not allow this as yet through their paypal systems however.

That's strange, because even though I have an old PayPal account (which I haven't used for years..), I paid for Advantage with my Visa, in May this year... Is this a geographical issue perhaps?

Ok peeps, I'm on this site for almost 3 years now...and I just bought a 2 years advantage!! Not that I have time to chop, but that's why I take advantage so that I can chop when I have a liiiiittle bit of free time and to post some pics! Anyway, I didn't had paypal, but I do now (10 minutes ago). I payed the advantage thingy but it said that it takes 5 days...is this normal? Maybe because it has to change the valuta from Euro's to Dollars?? Who can give me more info about this?!

Paypal should allow you to pay via credit card without signing up. I do have a credit card merchant account. I'm setting up links. However once a payment is approved it will not automatically activate the membership. I will have to do it manually.
