I'm having my morning coffee when I came upon this thread and read it all, many good points were made, but pay particular attention to what Lux said regarding the $50 comps, and read it again.
There is no right answer to the voting problems, I used to think a scale of 0-10 or better 0-100
would be the answer, but just look at what's going on on PhotoshopNation, it's a voting shithole.
Getting many more entries makes it better, (like it used to be), but at the moment we are stuck with what we have.
Wishing and hoping and pushing people to vote their conscience is all well and good, a nice Utopian wish but not realistic.
My advice to make things a bit better and fairer is to break up the $50 into $25 for first, $15 for second, and $10 for third.
