If you had a no show, then there's no trouble in talking about it. Back when the chat room was more heavily used, after Round 1 went live, it was very common for people to say "I got a no show" and that's fine because you're through to the next round no matter what at this point and however many votes you get based off of who you are or aren't doesn't affect that, so you are free to say that you posted. Don't know why you were bludgeoned about that. Clearly if both people posted and you broke anonymity, you would be disqualified, but when you're the only one there, who cares.

hardly bludgeoned...and I agree who cares?
I thought it might be good to point out that the H2H is an anonymous comp...as it doesn't state that in the rulz.

Hummmm, Now what happens?
Round 1.... I get a 'bye' and will chop against SpacemnSplif or jiffypop in round 2.
Well, they both pulled a no-show. 
This happened in three other comps in the first round as you may know.
Do we sit out another comp and go to round 3 or will we be able to chop?
Not that I matters. Just asking.

Since there were 4 double no shows, the 4 losing entries that gained the highest percentage of votes in their respective contests fill those spots.
As for the other stuff, yeah good lesson there. It's ok if you want to discuss that you got "no showed", but it is good of Eve to point out that otherwise it's fully anonymous, with all the consequences and jazz that comes with that.

I did not know it was a anonymous comp. Glad I know now I would hate to have been DQ'd cause of it.
Suggestion, maybe it should be put in the rules.
