I noticed today that several of my entries have been faved ( )... I know of a few people that contacted me or left comments on the entry itself about it being faved (and I know someone who added an entry to their favourites but it's not there anymore )... but as for the others, I would love to know who thought enough of them to favourite them.

So... I've noticed the forum is a good place to discuss things we'd like to see happen around here. Anyone else think it'd be a good idea to, in one way or another, be informed of who's world they're rocking? I for one have had a few nice pm exchanges with artists whose entries I've faved and vise versa...but maybe you've got so many faved entries that you couldn't give a rat's arse one way or the other... whatever... I'm just saying...

Yeah...that's where I noticed I had some of my entries favourited. I'm asking if there's any way of knowing or, indeed, would anyone else care to know which other member selected a particular entry of theirs as a favourite?

Nah, not at all. I see tonnes of entries that I ask myself (and usually end up asking the author) "how many times has this been made favourite?"

Since it's an option in our portfolios now, I guess it'd be pretty easy to code into the galleries too.

As far as your 'take two' entry goes, it's a very interesting study in 'depth of field'

Actually Jan...marjin has since pm'd me and apologised for that comment...she said she now realizes what a subtle,majestic,and inspired entry "Take Two" was.

for this exact reason, I've been putting "Fav'd" on anything I favorite.
just so the artist knows that I've done so.

Good call Sean... maybe we could try to make that the done thing if it doesn't get built in to the system somehow.

Simple, Eve. I was applying for a college course and didn't have time to print/develop a portfolio. They wanted a quick look at my work... so I separated the wheat from the chaff and was left with what you see - sad really . Needless to say they were suitably impressed

Thanks for reminding me - I don't believe in hiding anything (I think I mentioned that in a previous thread) so I'll put that right...tomorrow
