We would all do well to dig in, what with fuel costs as they are! It's a little tough here in northern New Jersey, where the hills are all boulders (glacial moraines).

I've seen that cave somewhere before...

Mate I stayed in the motel at Cooberpedy, and they are very comfortable and cool. Outside would be around 43-47 degrees C, and inside was a nice cool 23-26 degrees, and there bloody quiet, got some old film photos I will look for and scan them in.

One thing about cooberpedy if ya don't drink ya don't fit in, its a real bushman's township.

Yep, I've been 4 times. Totally wild place. Police chased us once... they stopped us from heading out to the mining area at dusk coz they figured we'd get shot.. led us to a nice camping spot out of harms way.
