I wonder how many voters will take into account that it's supposed to be a SPEED CHOP !!???...

Maybe they should have add a rule that users can post from 14.00 pm to 15.00 pm or 16.00 pm and so on?

always was 3 days to chop and vote, the speed bit only came into it if you wanted to get on the front page, was importantant back then when we averaged 9 pages a day and only 15 votes each,

Splodge is right, the goal was to get your image on the first page, because there were so many if you were too late you got buried. You could also post as many times as you like, I remember Occecid used to post 4-5 a day.
You also couldn't sort how you viewed the posts either, if I remember correctly. And if you edited your image it went to the back page.
It was fun this AM to get up and try to make it on the first page...I didn't, I was on page 2 I think...but I didn't start until after 9.

What was the point of the speedchop?
To chop the fastest, or to set non-advantages and advantages equal?

Pakimo,
The Speed Chop is the same but yet different than it "used to be in the past". Maybe that's why you are confused, and not your English!
The focus back when the site was created was to be funny and creative, not "all source" or to be "artistic", or to be " voted for exceptional PS Skills".
Voting patterns have changed, which is why I would guess granulated asked his question. Back then if you got your image in fast and it was good and maybe funny, everyone would vote for it out of respect for how fast and creative/funny posts were. Even if a post wasn't "clean"...I'd vote for it if someone had a great idea and got it up quickly.
We'll have to see how things go on this first SpeedChop before we can figure out how it's going to work voting/posting wise for the next one.
