Hey Micose nice to see you around.
I am not sure whats up with this pic It took me awhile to decide if it was real, 3d or already chopped. To be honest I still don't know.
I hope all is good I have some ideas for this one.

I don't know if I agree with Micose, but I do
think it's a stupid image for a source.
Many don't know the image origins, and even those who do gotta ask...wtf with the cropping?
Also..if it's not a celeb, or an image with recognition,
(this isn't a universal symbol like the Eiffel tower)
and if/even if it hasn't - been 'pulled off the web' and sourced while disregarding the hundreds of images psc'ers...nay.....people who paid for advantage and submission rights...have submitted...
quit wallowing in the mud please

OK here goes my two cents.
If its a 3D image and not knowing to much about the technical side of 3D art, I think its pretty good. Excluding 3D, I think that it may have been touched up to remove imperfections on the face and red added to the eyes to portray being tired or ill. Anyway, JMHO>

It's a photo of a sculpting, so personally I don't see anything wrong with that. Same as posting a photo of a Senseo machine made by Philips (not as artistic but makes better coffee then a sculpting)

I remember seeing that exhibit. The tired woman is HUGE. Anyway.....
If someone takes a photo of something someone else made I don't see how any copyright carries over. Especially if the person who took the photo isn't selling it. PLUS if it did it would negate any taking of photos for news and souvenir purposes.
But yeah... the source sucks.

Just plain 'source-wise' I think it's great.
Just if it was panned out so people could see it's original hugeness..well then you'd have an excellent source.

I saw the old people and the huge boy in London. They are totally freaky because they look real.

He did some mini people sleeping as well, I think it is mindboggling to have this wierd sensation to be smaller then a sculpture at one time and much bigger then another the next time, and the sculptures looking to lifelike they seem make you wait to see them breathe
By the way, I have send an email to one of the galleries where he has an exhibition these months, maybe Mr. Mueck will respond and say yes or know to permission for the use of the image. I think it is up to the artist himself to deside, don't you?

No. This easily falls into 'fair use'.

No hits on tineye..
I'd say it's a personal photo from the submitter.
Which makes it a fair source...........
But hey whoever...you really shoulda panned out!
