Any of the penguin lovers would mind explaining me how can we record actions on Gimp?? I need to make an action to optimize and resize images on it, and I have no idea what the frigging ScriptFU means... i mean... I´m quite sure what the FU stands for, but doesn´t help me at all.

Found this at : http://www.gimp.org/docs/userfaq.html#Macro

Is there a macro recording interface?

Not at this time. With GIMP based on GEGL, so that all changes are non-destructive, it will be much easier to implement this feature by just remembering all nodes in given range and reapplying them to other images. This is something that can be part of a future release of GIMP like 3.0.

You might want to try this: http://www.autohotkey.com/

AutoHotkey is a free, open-source utility for Windows.

This is a long-term goal of the current development. It requires a GUI <-> core separation and that all actions are invoked through the PDB. Once this is the case, writing a macro recorder will be very simple. I doubt however that we will reach this point before 2.0.

Salut, Sven

They´ll probably promise it for version 4 after they release version 3... fuckers...

Can you use different free software? I use XnView for batch resizing.
