with you... īcause I find it is of great geniality.
Jorge Iglesias is an argentine artist who studied light as no one did. He found how to make holograms without using the normal techniques for doing so, so he made pictures with movement, that can really give you the creeps!!!... He made invisible sculptures, and pictures of light....
I invite you to see them:

Invisible sculptures

Pictures with movement

Pictures of light (they depend on light to have colour, because they are originally acromatic)

I hope you enjoy it, I know you will...
=)

I agree with you all... The site is a sh*t.... He knows nothing about web designing!
Here, look at this ones... I know the quality of the videos is bad, but anyway..

Material Virtuality

Scrol: He is no relative of Julio. I really laughed when I read your googled-spanish, but it is nice to read something in spanish for a change... hehe

YerPalAl, Iīll try to find something in english... Iīm too lazy to translate it all...
=)

Supa, this man is famous at least here... He is more like a scientist, he gives lectures abot colour and light in universities and scientific associations, and of course in art institutions too.

Badcop, Iīm not sure if he sells them or not... In the beginning he didnīt because it was very difficult to put a price to something that had no precedence in the entire world.. I think he isnīt exactly a commercial artist.. he is more like an investigator, but I really donīt know what he is doing now.

AND I SAW HIS MOVING PICTURES!!!!!!!!!! I must tell you, itīs like living in one of those thriller movies where the pictures stare at you wherever you are!!! Itīs absolutely fantastic!
=)
Donīt let this thread die, I want everyone to see this artistīs great work

=)

Polishmafia: He tells what kind of material he uses... Itīs a bit complicated but basically he uses diferent layers of glass with a mosquito netting (i donīt know if thatīs the name in english) stuck to each one. Each mosquito netting has a different size of opening... He overlays them in a particular way, and basically is that... I canīt translate anymore...
=)
