Hi All,

Suddenly today, while my husband was using our iMac, certain websites turned to an Asian language (or odd symbols?)

One site was PSC and another was our college site.

I went home and checked on my lunch break. Our Safari default is English and so is our Mac preferences.

I think one of the kids pressed a button or two.

Any idea on how to get it all back to English? Even after resetting everything to English and clearing the cache, still get odd symbols instead of English text.

Thanks in advance for any help! I posted here because I know many of you use Mac and might have some insight.

I assume you have tried a safe reboot?

I think it's Sys pref then international then select english????
Again under pref: and then select language.
Or in firefox try this: See pref. language,

Something was hung up! We did a force quit and restart and all returned to normal.
