I would imagine by now that you are following the mess in Japan right now, this is a way of showing you care about the poor souls that are having to deal with stopping a potential meltdown, they are known as "the Fukushima 50" there are @180 technicians rotating in groups of 50 (some have already been killed, and wounded) I have not seen a picture of this group yet, if you do, please post it here.
The faceless 50 who dared to stay back

The idea is simple; post an image to pay homage to the brave, doomed people that will probably pay the ultimate price of going into a hot reactor to stop hell on earth, after we get some images up...I hope, we'll send it to this link.

Thank you Tesore, and Dechene What happened to the caring spirit of Photoshop Contest, this is the best we can do? Please spend a whole 10 minutes to chop something, imagine if it was a member of your family or friend that was trying to stop this disaster, you would want the world to know.

I did one at work today. Wasn't exactly what I was envisioning so while I stewed on it I forgot to upload it. I'll see if I can remote to that computer and upload it. BRB.
edit: k here it is. I agree with PVS. My son is now an official volunteer firefighter as are two of my nephews. My brother-in-law is a fire chief. I know several of the guys on the fire department now. They are incredibly selfless and brave men. The team in Japan is just the same. My heart goes out to them and their families because of the loss so far and the loss that will now come from sickness.

My little brother is a firefighter/paramedic, I hear the stories of what they do every day, thank god we have them.
That image would look so much better if it was @ 800 pixels wide Tofu

That image would look so much better if it was @ 800 pixels wide Tofu I'll try to work on it today if I can. It's still missing something. I'll repost at 800 wide ASAP.
Oh and BUMP!

For me, the sky blue dot in the center of the image represents the light at the end of the tunnel, Japan still has a long way to go, they will succeed.
