To anyone who still visits - the site has been down since September 11. Per admin/owner's explanation, they are trying to migrate to a new server and having problems. No advanced warning or notification was given to mods. All the relevant information from my email correspondence with rajan is quoted below.

I think a few glitches need ironing out. But it's good to see the old site still breathing.

I was due to renew my advantage exactly on 911,went on site, saw the Code is Love page and figured oh well maybe the site went out with a kiss...glad you are back up PSC, will be renewing my advantage soon,just dont know when I will be participating again...been too busy lately with domestic issues

So they got a new server, ...but what else changed???

To the best of my understanding, the site has not been migrated yet. It didn't function correctly at its new server, for me it didn't load at all, so it is currently restored to the old location/host/IP address. Rajan ensured me that he would keep us informed.

I was pretty sure the whole site were changed when psc.com were down so many days. New design and everything. Anyway, it didnt happen. The most important thing is that psc.com is up and running again. The same old thing, it doesnt matter as long as we can chop the images. IMO.

We resolved the PHP version issue on the new server. Can you guys help us in testing it on the NEW server. Some pages might show old content as we have not merged the changed files and DB yet.

Use following instruction to test the site on NEW IP
-----------------------------------------

WINDOWS
Modify the local hosts file with Admin privileges: "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts"

MAC
Modify the file with sudo privileges: "/private/etc/hosts"

LINUX
Modify the file: "/etc/hosts"

LINES TO ADD (NOTE: The domains are each on one single line resolving to the new IP):

108.62.122.126 photoshopcontest.com www.photoshopcontest.com

After modifying your hosts file and saving, open a new Chrome or Firefox window in "incognito mode" or clear out all your browser cache. You should now be able to view your websites from the perspective of the new server.

I have no idea what you mean by modifying host file.

We are doing scheduled downtime activity on the PSC site on Sep 29-09-2021 starting after 8:30 AM Pacific Time (PT). Site access will be restricted during this activity.

We spent hours resolving the issues on the new server but even after our best effort issue persists. But now we know more about this site and its requirement.

We shifted back to the old server. To keep the old server safe we are not moving any backups from the new server.

If you are seeing this message you are seeing a fully working website running on our OLD server. DNS will take some time to propagate on all ISPs.
