This might have already been brought up, so if it has please just disregard this whole thing.

But I think this site has a big flaw in it's voting system. First of all, users only get a certain amount of votes, so basically, people who enter the first day of the challenge have an extreme advantage over late entries. Doesn't this bother anybody?

I have seen a few sites that keep entires anonymous until winners are announced, and don't allow voting until all entries are in. This is a rather good idea. This way there are no biases as to who made the entry. And the voters get to see all entries before spending their alloted votes to cast.

Also, i think it would be a good idea to let every member vote on every entry... 1-10 maybe. This way no one gets left out.

Just my philosophy. Not trying to ruffle any feathers just would like to see it a little more fair is all.

The first point----we've been over that many times--
It's a dead horse and you can find several threads in
the "voting" section of forums on that.
The second point though-
about the gfx style vote has , as far as I can remember,
never been thouroughly discussed.
I am curious of how people feel about it.

they are right...anonymous entries and voting has be discuss...and discussed...and discussed. Read some of the threads in this section as well as the brain storm section and you'll find many many topics covering each side of the arguement.

yeah, but I was thinking with the point system vote--
you would still show up in the vote section as a voter but what number out of yer
1-10 rating you put on it would be unknown.
Think about that for minute.
Ahhh nevermind-- you'd have people giving out a ton of ones with that kinda win-win situation.
