hey all,

I was asked to model the render below in 3ds max : the tennis ball sphere was already modeled, so I modeled the cube with its top surface waves, which follow a curve provided in an illustrator file.I also set the scene up with lights and materials.

Now I have an arguing with my customer, I need help to decide how much I must charge him. Please help me out with this, I have no idea....thank you everyone

thx supak, the arguing is because he pretends a part of the 3ds file was unusable ...but he was with me when I exported it and it worked....see what I mean...

sorry, but 500 bucks seem way too much for this to me ... if I had ordered this by a sub, I wouldnt pay more than 150 to 200

yeah, I wouldnt pay more than 100 for this... unless there's more to it, its a basic rendering.

Good luck!

Develop your surfacing material, give the table surface a wood texture...and maybe add a cornice molding base of gold around the bottom of the square to give it a nice touch (WIP).

Did you have a contract? Was it hourly or a flat fee agreed upon? I usually work on a contract that states....half up front...and half when finished. If the customer doesn't like the final product then i either work to create it to his or her liking or if not satisfied, then you still have half of the payment for services and time rendered.
