The truth is that every time I suspect a spambot I do a Google search for the phrase that's been posted. If it comes up on a board (or more than one board) then it gets my vote as a spambot.

This holds especially true if
1) the posts are on the same day.
2) the posts don't seem to be out of place for the boards they're on.
