Just read, that there will be a Photoshop-Convention in Munich/Germany in the beginning of November. THEY WANT 600 EURO (890 USD) for two days of speech and presentation, and two days later would be the workshops, for extra 180 to 300 euros. Why soooo much?

How are the conventions you did visit in the states or elsewhere? Is it there this expensive too?
