Try resetting your preferences - hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac) or while launching Photoshop. A prompt will ask if you want to delete the preferences file. Click Yes.
You may want to save a backup copy of your adjusted Preferences file so it can be restored if needed. This is not necessary, but if you want to avoid resetting all your preferences any time you reset them, it can be helpful to have a backup.
For awhile now, I've had a problem with my 'print screen' function. Worked fine in 'paint,' would not work in photoshop. Searched high and low for a fix and narrowed it down to resetting my preferences. Couldn't figure out how to do that, so I just left it. Anyhow, this fixed it for me Voks, thanks alot.
