I was just wondering, do you have any problems with the so-called spanish slugs? They came to Norway in 1988, and now we are educating people to wander around and kill them for us.

hermaphrodites...worse than rabbits or roaches.

several years ago, we were traveling on the grapevine, a steep portion of the Ridge Route linking the Los Angeles Basin with the San Joaquin Valley. Stopped at some local restaurant and the parking lot looked like it was in perpetual motion...yep, beetles...everywhere. Had to squish and skitter to get into the place. yech.

several years ago, living on Maui, frogs took over the roadways. Cars were careening all over the place. Silly frogs.

When I lived in Venezuela(when I was a young un, not my fault my dad was working there) there was this huge lizard(dinosaur) in the middle of the road, and we had to wait for it moving. What with we being English types.My dad beeped and beeped until it moved(and it took ages!).

some people here are buying ducks, to hold them in the garden. they pick all the slugs and eat them. and after this, you can it the duck

We have a ton of Asian stink bugs over here.
Its not as bad since winter, but those things annoy me to no end.

Have you seen the thing about britians black squirrels? They're invading too.
