The shadows are a lot better and the introduction of the shoe adds a small story element. Try to match the shoe shadow and density to the other shadows with in the image, and not to sure about the over blur on the shoe. Nice work and good effort.

Good idea. Note that with one light source (the sun) shadows can't overlap and add (i.e., shoe and stalk).
