Yeah you're right in connection with the rake's shadow. The only thing I did it so, that it seemed to me look like better.

to be exact,the true direction of the source of the light (the sun) is indicated here by the shadow on the second step from the bottom (where the light glare is on the grass) the shadow is below the step and slightly tilted to the bottom right hand corner

this would place the sun from the viewer's point of view as coming from the top and slightly left of center.thus in reality all the shadows should be in accord with the step shadow and point toward the bottom right of center.that's if you want to be exa

ct ...my suggestion for the rake was to at least be consistent with your "additions" to the source image.but like I said before,even though the shadows are off, the image has a good feel to it...I like it cheers!
