The object is nice, but the shadows (or lack thereof) detract. The shadows on the wall suggest two strong light sources. One is simpler. The lack of floor shadows make the table appear to float.

Shadows are difficult--especially when it comes to matching existing shadows. They are not all flavors of black. I am a long way from mastery. You're way ahead of my learning pace. :)
