Good first try... you have my vote as promised. But make the trail diisapear as the ball advances towards the hoop. And fine tune each frame to make look more natural. What program are you using.. PS?

not bad at least you got the sensation of motion now...as you animate the sequence,only keep one ball per frame and turn of the others so as they go from small to large...
