the explosion doesn't look right. you should use some "feather" next time. And I don't get this picture: the explosion is happening now and the police is there already? ;-)

the explosion is underground... that explains the drop shadow and the earthy border

er , um... well: since you asked: the explosion should be casting some orange-colored light onto the ground around it. And feathering the explosion would help it look a bit more real. I'd lose the dropshadow - lights create shadows, but don't have shad
