But this war isnt for our freedom. Right about now it's pretty damn pointless. If you ask me, it's pretty sad that anyone would fight FOR anyone but themselves. Really, what's so great about this America anymore? What really was? We still have racism, sexism, homosexuals still have to search in order to be wed, censorship, and as much as we'd like to think, we're not all that separated from church either. I am Christian myself, but I don't think shoving it down people's throats is going to make them want to believe.. America pisses me off. What the fuck are we in this war for? Who the fuck are we to tell someone how to run their own country? Who knows, maybe they were doing something RIGHT. Maybe there's a reason they treated their people the way they did.
Don't believe every damn thing you hear on the news. They don't tell you half of what really goes on over there. And it's MEDIA. All they DO is make shit up and spread rumors. There's so much they're not telling us, and so much of what they are telling us is bullshit. I have many friends in the Force and they all feel let down by this "president" of ours. Why are they fighting? Why are they there?
I honor those who died, but not for the same foolish reasons you listed. They didn't die for anything but a selfish president's excuse to get himself off. here's my vote.
