My family moved to Udall in 1972 and I lived there thru the early 90's. Here I was, 20, and had never seen a tornado (but really wanted to). I got my wish. I was 1/2 mile from this thing in SE Wichita when it rolled thru. Here's a link with quick

The 1955 Udall tornado is in the top 25 deadliest ever spc.noaa.gov... (good thing we weren't there then). Not sure why my parents decided to move there, but as a 1-year-old, didn't have much say. Enjoy.
