I tried to change the perspective of the track and to make the seahorses (source: [img] img464.imageshack.us... appear more three-dimensional. As always, constructive criticism is welocme! :)

Great shadows cafn8d. Also love the assortment and 3d work for the seahorses. Might be too many of them though but that's minor.

heh, great job Caf. tweaking the perspective is one thing I was messing with. I almost got it so that it looked like you were looking straight out at the track. figured no one would vote for it though, and I had a better idea but didnt get to finish it

ooooo how much layers and shadows here.... and realistic light too.;.. and this idea..... BRAVO
cafn8d cafn8d
Thank you so much for the kind words (and votes)! :D
cafn8d cafn8d
Micose: Thanks! Number of layers = twice the number of seahorses (seahorses + shadows), plus the grassy area in the middle of the track, plue the railing in front, plus the basic track. Not really all that many. ;)
cafn8d cafn8d
plue = plus

caf, i love the shadows you made. There just seem so real, bigger/smaller and several forms of seahorses in there... i wonder if that's hard to learn for a beginner. I have great troubles with my shadows.. dont seem to get where to put them,..
wendysmurfie wendysmurfie
do you know a site where i can see examples of where to put shadows and stuff (tut?) I know how to make one a bit, but i realy want to learn more about shadows as they sometimes can ruin a picture.
