There is such a great new crop of submitters that its a shame only 50 or 60 folks see their work. I know we all have time constraints but I wanted to remind some of the old timers of how cool it is to view all the submissions. New ideas, different approaches and some crap too but ahh I can't concentrate with sponge bob singing in the background...ok so life does get in the way of us participatin in this site

The views are not realistic because when you go to look at the comments people leave on your entry it counts as a view" when the artist goes to look at his/her entry it should'nt show up in the views, but I guess that's how the system works" but that's ok! enjoy!

I agree for the most part as far as you should view every entry, but like Mikey said the views are not realistic. For instance, I view my own every time I get a vote just to see what a voter said and a couple of other times just to see what I've done and how to improve for the next time, and the views of lurkers/non profile having people count too so that adds in quite a bit. As well as undecided voters who view it several times before making a final decision. So say you have 200 views with 15 votes - calculate all your own views, the views of the votes you recieved, lurker views and undecided/repeat views and it adds up quite a bit.

I don't belive the view counter is any way to judge how good or not your chop is or even a way to average your votes, just a simple counter of how many times many different people open it.

That's my opinion and I am sticking to it
