I have that Yellow Jackets album (I think the best of them). I like it a lot but
I think it's very different than what Bates is doing on this album.
What Bates plays on that sounds for me a lot less conventional...

It's been a while, I was hoping others would keep this thread alive, there's so much great music out there, and no-one's talkin about it  I was out of town for a couple weeks and did happen to catch a latin rap show, these guys call themselves 537, and although I'm not crazy about this type of music, they put on a pretty energetic show,
Did anyone catch Lollapalooza 06? I'll post some shots in a bit

Paul (welcome back hehe) ther were a lot of festivals overhere too... i did none but it's always great fun to take luggage for 3 oR 4 days in go to those. Lollap'za ...its well known but what city it takes place ?

I think those are from the Chicago show Naiko, but I can't find the link that I got these shots from, they removed it. So I could be wrong,

Well, I just got home from the Jeff Beck concert, it was killer, I got within 5 feet of him, and came very close to shaking his hand, but I missed  however, the show was great, I've always wanted to witness the best rock guitarist of our time, and I finally had the chance, I recommend anyone that is near the cities he's playing, to go and catch a great show, you won't be disappointed, this is the guy that Jimi Hendrix thought was the best guitarist back in the late 60's, Jeff is now 62 years old, and looks great, he rocks like he's in his early 20's, I figure I'll never get another chance to see him.

Music?! Got to listen to music. I just recently got into some different stuff trying to figure out what other countries listen to. I started listening to Lord Kossity and Nami Tamoki and some other stuff. Those 2 are my favorites that I have listened to so far. I listen to a little bit of everything. Don't like country though. I used to just listen to any kind of metal and alternative, been trying to broden my horizons with the music. It drives my sister crazy that I listen to rap and R&B now, she hates the stuff, so when she's in town I'll play it just for her, lol.
