Nice bit of social engineering on the password steal. Before you sent the message did you build a back door account for yourself in case he ever changed his password? Not that I'd condone that sort of behavior.
As for Photoshop in the school; is there a graphics art program offered at the school? Most schools that have one have Photoshop and Adobe does have educational licensing programs to get CS2 on the cheap. You should speak with the art and tech-ed teacher(s) to find out what can be done so you don't have to work on the sly.
