I've had my share of bouts with chopper's block over the last couple years. I've tried all kinds of things. Queen La Tiff gave me some tips a while back (have to find that post again).

Now I've found something else that's had the ideas flowing again. I've started reading fiction books again. I'm not talking books that would win a any award for great writing though. Just quick paperbacks that I can finish in a weekend or a week's worth of evening readings. Pound out a couple of those and see if you start getting chop ideas again. Very Happy

Now I just have to remember how to chop and then make the time to do it again. Laughing

I usually just get really lazy with CB & then move on to another art form. I'm a poet, chopping is kind of my writers' block treatment (and my job, so, eh...) I'm morte likely to get chop-boredom... you can only make so many 6-burner ranges out of 10 burner ranges & fill so many coolers with product before you want to bash your head with your mouse! that's why I have PSC - to keep the creativity around occasionally!

Edit: "Morte likely"??? I think I made a bi-lingual freudian slip! Laughing

I go on image sites to find inspiration. Usually though the cure is just time to relax and not think about it and the inspiration comes back.

I don't fight Chopper's Block anymore.
No point in it.
If I chop, I chop.
If I don't, I don't.

Gets rid of "Chopper's Block" immediately. Unfortunately it also gets rid of "Chopper's Ability" at the same time. Laughing
