thats how high my temperature was when I went home from work last Thursday March 22nd! 104pointfreakin4! & I had that for about 24hours, I came close to death, I was hallucinating, I was delirious. I was a mess. Tami was scared. She almost took me to the hospital, and she prob should have. But it subsided early in the morning Saturday, now I seem to be ok, other than being very weak. I felt like I was in a micose painting no kidding. Everything was melting, it was like a bad flashback. things would go in and out of color to black and white, things that were highlighted were going to shadow and vice versa. things would get fuzzy like turn to fuzz. then they would do that weird in and out of focus thing. I didn't have any revelations but it was a serious acid trip man. I got pretty scared.

But it just put this place and my life in perspective and I guess I'll take that as a positive.

so Cheers to all of you, I love you all! You're all like my extended family, I've come back more positive and I hope that things will change for the better around here.

not the flu though cause I didn't have any other symptoms other than the high fever and the acid tripps that came with it. lol

If anyone else has had this or knows what it is, I'd love to hear it.. and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, it was scary bad.

Get some lab work done just to make sure all your levels are ok.
Something might be off.

Been there done that and hope never happens again. When it happened to me I went to the hospital and when they put the IV in me (because you get dehydrated from fevers), I could feel the fluid running through my viens and it was cold too. The hallucinations and stuff are a product of the high fever. Glad to hear your doing better

I was able to keep hydrated though, but I didn't eat for 2 days.

micose, I didn't hear many sounds or voices other than my wife asking me what I wanted... or needed.

thanks Rey you're truly an inspiration! so how are you doing? thats a much more serious thing than this little virus kicking my arse for a few days. but boy near death sure puts things in a new light don't it? makes things that seemed important, really silly and superficial.

i just went to see a fever dealer rey.....they still had the Adriana Lima one...one way ticket trip for me....
