i am sure the subject of this post will get a lot of veiws. Sorry, this is not a post about porno, but i was wondering how you apply one of those shhweeeat avitars to my name. It seems that most users have them, and i must confess that i feel a might NAKED with out one Embarassed . Remember naked has rules, and no one enjoys being naked, when everyone else in the room is dressed.

click on your name at the top right there in blue,
then scroll to the bottom of the new page you'll see

Avatar control panel

Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 70 pixels, the height no greater than 70 pixels, and the file size no more than 6 KB.

thank you for your help i have found the place now to find a pic. is there any specific file type i should save it as. ex.jpeg..tiff..

has to meet the file size requirements.

Make it (as mentioned above) 70 x 70 pixels wide.

If you are using Photoshop, use the FILE > SAVE FOR WEB feature. I suggest JPEG if you are not having an animated avitar (a WHOLE other subject! Wink ) and with SAVE FOR WEB you can adjust the compression until you get the file size down under 6KB.
