Hope you don't mind Rey but I "HTML-ized" this for Proc to add to the tuts section.

Newb question. How do you apply a mask to all layers?
my way would be..
create folder (map), put all layers in it
create mask on folder (map)

Yes,...What Gref said.

I keep checking the obituaries to see if my name is there. If it's not, then I figure I'm ok.

I don't know what it would be on a PC, but on a Mac, you can option + click on mask thumbnail + drag to another layer to copy that mask onto the other layer. You can click and drag the mask from one layer to another without leaving it on the originating layer, too. And actually, I don't know if this is particular to CS3 or not. I only discovered it in CS3, so I don't know whether CS or CS2 or earlier versions can do the same. Certainly, the folder method would be more efficient if you want to apply the same mask to a whole bunch of layers.

It's from "kopimi.se" (read 'copy me').
Quote: kopimi (copyme), symbol showing that you want to be copied. use kopimi in your own fancy. kopimi may be put on homepages or blogs, in books, in software, as sound logos in music or whatever.
1. copy one of these kopimi symbols, or make up your own
2. put it on a homepage
3. link the logotype to: www.kopimi.com/kopimi
I think it's FC's way of saying he's agreeing with whatever was said previously? Kind of an "I copy that" thing?
Unfortunately "kopimi" appears to have roots as a Word macro virus as the site says "You are welcome to compile kopimi and play with it as much as you like!" and one of the images links to the Sophos description of the CopyMe-A virus.

Wow! Looks great. Try lowering the opacity of the white layer a bit for different effects.
Also, try to scrunch the middle part of it up a little more, See how the wrinkles get more compressed towards the center and looser towards the edge?

Come to think of it, my bottom wrinkle is way too fat, looks like elephant skin. I'll give it another try tomorrow.
On a side note - I made some additional distortions to the original using a copy of the masked wrinkles on a 50% gray background as displacement map.

I tried one using a photo of a co-worker and I tried to put a skull under the face. Didn't come out right. But I'll keep at it because I think she'll laugh her ass off when it's done (she's been on med leave for 2 months after neck surgery).
Anyway I like that voks! It looks like a glossy vinyl banner to me. You should post your PSD too.
