Isn't this a photoshop site?
STONE
source is the picture provided by this site. Its what these contests are all about. PSC gives you a 'source' picture and you do something with it
I hope that clears it up for you.

Preciate it Shaman, that's what i figured. But it seems like alot of these pics are done with something other than photoshop? Is that right?

Most people use Photoshop exclusively. ImageReady and Illustrator sometimes.... at one time a few used a program called GIMP... and still others try to use MS Paint
pretty much its up to you what programs you use.. its all about the photo manipulations.
good luck!

I am trying to find a way to restore the old writing on the back of old pictures that has faded out. Does anyone have any ideas at all how to go about doing this. I just received alot of family photos from the late 1800's-1900's and lots of writing on who they are, but too faded to make this out..Any help would certainly be appreciated.
Thanks
Ella

C.S.I. can do it.
adding lemon juice will bring it out, but very destructive to the original, in those days photographers were very profesional and signed the front of the photo, you will be suprized at how many were archived, post a sample here, scan it in at the highest resolution you can and crop a bit off, 600 x 600

At least you can pretend. I'm not pretending. I actually do know nothing.

Hi,
I am looking, maybe naively for a place to learn and to grow with photoshop. I hope this can be my home. I had a bad experience on another site so am a bit wary. But if you can stand my bad art I think I can take the comments just be gentle. thanks:)
