A couple years ago I shared my ultimate hyper-speed entry browsing methods, and received quite a bit of acclaim. Thank you allfor the ego boost.......BUT I've just been OUTDONE!
Browse entries faster...I am talking--get this............
browse every entry in a contest and NEVER even click on the thumbnails...
I mean--you can go to the contest page where all the thumnails are--SEE each entry page...see the large version...vote...comment....add to favorites and NEVER LEAVE the Thumbnail PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not one link or thumb need be clicked on---no effort at all, no page loading waits...too good to be true?
Is this for real?
Welcome to the next great change to the internets........

I've been using Cooliris for a several days now, and have found that some of my more time consuming task elsewhere on the web, and even here are getting done..literally in a quarter of the time i usually spend.
PS:- I suggest if you have Vista or Stardock that you look to Cooliris's help page .....They have a few excellent huge browser icon images that are perfect for the dock.

I think you do have to restart Micose.
i made one mistake--you still have to clik on the regular image to see the large version Confused .........but almost perfect Razz I also suggest if anyone has just downloaded the latest versions/updates of IE and FF that came out this last week, to make sure you got all yer bugs worked out before adding plugins--------or ya wont know where the problem is coming from. I say this cause since FF updated I am having a very hard time getting to PSc's login page, and being logged out unexpectedly a lot.

OH HOLY HELLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU GOTTA TRY THIS ON GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Put yer cursor over the thumb and the Full size image pops up under yer cursor!! instant save!!!!!!!!!! w/ out leaving the search page yer on!I can easily see doing two hours of Google image searches in under ten minutes..........HA! THIS RAWKS! Extremely large images will resize to look about 500x500 but just drag and drop right onto your desktop and they are the full size file...MAN! this is sweet!

This is very interesting. In PSC, it seems to let the user peek at votes and comments without adding to the view count. It also lets the user check out those pre-posts for errors without adding to the view count. Or so it seems, anyway.

I can't seem to find a plug-in on the CoolIris site to activate the Google Image functionality. Google Images is on the default list in the preferences, but I can't see how to get it to work as described.

What am I missing? Am I having another one of those presenile dementia "D'oh" moments?

Got it now. I was hovering over large images. It takes time to load them. It didn't help that I had a couple of memory hog programs running at the same time. This will make Google image search faster. But it will take practice--passing the mouse pointer over any link can be annoying. Especially if that link takes you to something BIG you didn't want to look at.

I can see this as being extremely useful for non-image Google searches. You can quickly scan a site and move on to the next search result.

This is clearly a nifty tool, but there must be a catch. Nothing is free.

its great...comes in very handy for leaching images off google images without having to go through the sometimes longwinded normal procedures.

I use the Firefox addon

I was mistaken. The process adds to the view count. Still cool, though.

Thanks, Joe.
