I mentioned that IF one of our site programmers/mods is
willing to go over the socks at a later date that they WOULD be judging them. Don't expect anybody to be willing to put themselves through the trouble unless these socks are done well and match the already existent set. Also within existing limits of 70X70 and 6kb.
By all means-do as Cheriym said and grab old socks to use as templates.
Example, the Micose sock looks terrific, but could be altered to match the already existing set a little plus be personified with a paint brush and pallet or some such thing like that there.

There is a way we can do this that should make everyone happy...

1. Those members who wish to have a sock nominate themselves.
We make a list & go in order of sign-ups (Yes, I'm first )
2. Each week we anonymously vote via poll whether we determine the member of the week deserves to have a sock. This should satisfy the Reindude. If the member is voted "Not eligible for a PSC sock" their name goes to the bottom of the list. That way the member has time to get more involved in PSC community.
3. After the voting process is completed and it's determined the member of the week IS eligible for a PSC sock, other members post their interpretation of that person's "sock." They must look like Cynn's original set of socks.
4. At the end of the week, mods determine which is the winner and places the new sock into Cynn's original set.

2 days for voting...that gives all our international ppl a chance to vote.
3 days for choppin socks.

What's kinda "cool" is one member might know the member of the week better than others. It's a great mixture of ideas...and Hey, how long does it take to design a sock?

That sounds pretty good, Eve! Now... if only Proc were here to give his stamp of approval so the winning socks could actually get into the chat code... But as Scion said early on, we can still post socks here to use for hotlinking purposes!

I'm sure Marco will be able to sock this one to Cynn standard, then all that has to be done is downsize

do your own, if they are extremely close to an original cynn sock they might get placed in in the sock sack, 70 x 70 .gif transpancy, or cheet and use .png bigger file size, 100% tranparency

Why so gloom, Scion? Some of the things I made have inspired Marco to redo them in Cynn style. He has a way with that, I can't get them to look like the old socks.

And his can easily be downsized to fit the others.
