Booohooo... 
I just came up with no less than two neat ideas for upcoming contests, and I did bring my laptop to this generally boring hotel room. Great, huh? Less great is that forgot to bring my mouse/tablet. Chopping on a touch-pad could be an interesting challenge, but...
Buggers...

That sucks. Maybe the hotel has an extra mouse you could use. It's no sketchpad I know, but it's gotta be better than a touchpad.

hey! i chopped 4 months or something on a mousepad..and i did okay! My first win was chopped with mousepad  ..everything is possible... good luck

Woho and yay for me , I actually posted an entry a few minutes ago, despite not having a mouse. And I like the outcome, so I suppose pad-touching is a bit underrated, haha  . I guess when one really wants to do something, one just do it, no matter what.

well, the hotel might not have spare mice, but there's always a mouse around. Go to the front of the hotel where the lobyist makes calls and inputs reservations and when she walks away steal her mouse!
