Yup!
The one and only mega prize (tssk) has bitten the dust!!
If anyone doesn't know, it was an Acer laptop.
All I get now is a blinking red light on the font. I've checked a lot of techy forums and they all say it's a motherboard problem.
It was fun while it lasted though! 
What I want to know is who done the voodoo to kill it. I know it was one of you!

good waffles bad waffle before it packed up?
no syphony from me, i just blew my top of the range computer apart, scorch mark on the wall, big blue flash, big bang.
girlfriend and her dog leaped into the air and yelped at same time, i was sat on the floor wondering 'what could make a bang that big'
bought a new power pack today, no joy, anyone got a hugh motherboard tey dont want?
