Have the anonymous contests ended? I find them much more interesting, honest and fun. I don't mean with prices, but with hidden names and votes....
EDIT: And it is better to give and recive critic when the feedback is anonymous intill the votings ends. And much more to learn from others then.

No. We just all vote for our favorites around here.
It keeps us happier. We wouldn't want to have any ARTISTIC TYPES with twisted shorts and bad attitudes around here. It could get ugly. Nothing WORSE than an artist with un-happiness on his or her mind.
Okay. Take your SOMA. You'll feel nothing in a moment or two.

if you are not privy to the dark side of anonymous contests just click on the "most votes" button and work it out from there

oh, I don't worry personally about votes and stuff. I just find the anonymous contests more fun. I find it more fun when I vote on someone whom I don't know who is and after the contest is over see who it was. Thats why I wondered if they had stopped
(Sorry about my bad english)

Bad English......this is America.......we started bad english
Yeah i too enjoy the anon.....some here.....some i say......actually just chop and have fun. Voting for the ones you like......now thats not right. How can this be a communist site if we all vote for what we like. Everyone just voting at random.......for what they like........no matter who did it........That's just not fair.
Dang it Rein, see what you done went and started......now everyone back in line....it's time for the (who to vote for list) for today.
Rein is on contest chop restriction Pak......besides who would keep the forum pictures going.....i would not even be in the forums if they did not have picture.......you know i dont read things without picture's. It makes my brain hurt.

so far, the only anonymous contests we have are when there is a prize involved... so when they have another prize contest, it will be another anonymous contest.

hehe..under closer analysis you'll realise the truth.
Anonymous contests leads to blatant and outrageous voting skullduggery which goes unnoticed until after the contest has finished.

We can't deny that there's really alot of friendly votes here and that the present system allow 'us' to do so. But don't get me wrong, what I mean is aside from the artistic value there is the 'know me, know you' or 'vote mine, vote yours' factors. With anonymous contest, aside from more excitement, members would be challenged to chop better knowing that the votes would be based on artistic merits alone, hence, they have fair chance of getting more votes, if not winning. As I've noticed, newbies (mostly) come and go with their just short stint and I somehow, wonder why. This issue has been talked about so many times before so I'm not expecting any changes but just giving my honest opinion and observation. I maybe wrong. (pardon my english)
