If there's really no problem with the present system then why we are making the prize contest anonymous? What is the difference? I suggest let's make the prize contest the same as the non prize contest. Let see if nobody will complain.

In an anonymous contest I have a much harder time tanking an entry by putting a boatload of comments harshly criticizing the technical merits of said entry and/or photoshopping skills of the author.

the anon button will only help the few .ppl who prefer not being swayed by who posted what, removing the 'most votes' button would remove the biggest temptations into sin on this site, the sin of sloath, IT IS THE DEVILS BUTTON I TELL YOU, THE DEVILS BUTTON 
How about a compromize? you can only use the DEVILS BUTTON after you have used up all your votes?

Remove the most votes button totally would be a very cool idea.
