a tip spend more time cleaning up your image than manipulating... a clean image will get votes everytime

Basil - could you please explain what you mean by "cleaning up your image"? do you mean like making sure that the edges blend smooth?

yes make sure the edges blend.. the lighting is right on all objects.. the shadows all go the overall lighting Smile<br><br>brightess and contrast all match.. levels all match.. the image is scewed correctly (people mess this one up all the time). and good color match Smile

oh and if you put a head on a body.. make sure it isnt to damn big (people mess that up alot too)

today we have a good example clean work vs not as clean<br>I dont know who posted these and im not knocking the work of anyone.. its just an example<br><br><img src=http://pic9.picturetrail.com/VOL285/1461200/2786120/34573253.jpg><br><b> 27 votes<br><br><img src=http://www.catinabox.ca/PScontest/kermit.jpg><br><b>5 VOTES</b><br><br>not the 5 vote one is still a very good edit, but as you can see the one on the top is cleaner.. thats the differance im talking about..<br><br>dont get me wrong here.. still post something eyecatching.. just make it clean

MAxi your host is MSN and nobody can tell who you are vs anyone else with MSN, unless you know of some leet hacking increption breaker that reads MSN file names.. i dont think your singled out

unless you do alot of high concept stuff and people get used to your style (which takes time).. stick to simple eye catching work.. for votes.. if you want to be artistic then do what ya like Smile
