wow nuno NICE breakdown! Smile I needed a little extra help on that one, looks pretty good, do you think that the black density is correct on the boat shadow compared to the shadow where the man is sitting? And I feel honored to have been part of your first TUT Laughing

Yeah... also, I'm just wondering if the boat would cast any shadow at all where the building's shadow is. The sun isn't hitting the boat at all so therefore- no shadow. The top of the boat would also be in the shadow of the building as well... so the building's shadow should extend up and over the boat, shading that whole area I would've thought. I'm not that great a chopper, and god knows nuno is much better than me... it's just how I'm seeing it. Smile

I would have matched the boat shadow to the roof shadow. Same intensity, similar sharpness etc. I just would have darkened the section where the boat meets the ground a little. You definitely don't see shadows on shadows like this

I don't speak very good English either, and that's all I speak. If you took away the swear words, I would not have many left. Confused Laughing Laughing

Your right. the shadow was wrong. I made some changes that looks better. You have to disguise the overlap of the shadow and give some blur.

The density of the shadow's boat in this case is more dark because is closer to the ground.
