hey guys and gals,
im entered in a contest for $1,000. if my poster wins the contest, i get some cash and well deserved recognition! And I'm falling in the standings! Please, it only takes a few seconds, just click the link below and once the page loads, click the "Vote" button! I really appreciate it everyone!

i'll vote for you, only if after getting the money, you donate some sum to PSC for improving the site or to buy splodge some beer

I have to agree with RM on this one. This is blatant off-site vote whoring. 
Since begging for votes on our own site is wrong, why should vote begging behavior, even for another site be deemed OK?
Stop and ask yourself this question first: would you have voted for Phraktol's poster out of the other 386 posters in the competition had Phraktol not created this thread requesting your vote, probably not.
Sorry Phraktol, but thanks for the link to that design site and the competition, the whole thing looks rather cool.
